Chamaecyparis lawsoniana ‘gimbornii’ cypress / cedar from nursery stock

Small Juniper with multiple deadwood options. Juniper was worked in 2022. Next year the plant will be root pruned and placed in a proper bonsai pot. The deadwood features you notice here are the ones that will make this bonsai. The base of it is interesting and has wide nebari which we will proudly display. It will be kept at the medium size it is now in a gnurly seemingly old state.

This was not the right time for this, however, I don’t have much free time anymore to do anything like this. The tree was worked on and then potted up to a training bigger bonsai pot. Clay mixed with organic soil was semi removed with some roots cut and a bit of carving took place today.

I have not been able to take any pictures of it yet however an updated picture will be coming up.
